To keep the communication among member schools, the Secretariat formulated the implementation plan of holding the International Forum on Theatre Education Research according to the notification from President Hao Rong on Jun. 10th. The details are as follows:

Ⅲ. Theme of the forum: National Methodology for Acting

Ⅳ. Attendees:

1. Representatives, professors and experts from member schools;

2. Experts in theatre arts invited by the host.

Ⅴ. About the Forum

The forum consists of online video sharing and a discussion session. The participants shall submit in advance the abstracts of their papers and the videos of their presentations to the Organizing Committee. All videos will be uploaded to an online platform and be open to the faculties and students from member schools during the forum. Also, there will be a discussion session, which the speakers and other representatives could join via Zoom to share their opinions after watching the videos. Two languages (Chinese & English) of simultaneous interpreting will be provided.

Ⅶ. Materials Submission

1. Application Form:

Please fill in the application form (Appendix) and send it to wteafestival@chntheatre.edu.cn by Jul. 15th, 2021, which covers the title of paper and the speaker's information. There is no limit to the number of applicants from each member school.

2. Speaker's CV and Abstract of Paper

An applicant should submit his/her abstract (no more than 1000 words in English), CV (no more than 100 words in English, stating his/her name, position and title, specialties, productions, etc. ), 1 full face photo and the English subtitle (WORD version) of the presentation video to wteafestival@chntheatre.edu.cn by Sept. 1st, 2021.

3. Video of Paper Presentation

The video of paper presentation should be within 45 minutes, which can contain the scene of the speaker delivering a speech, and the charts, pictures or video clips for the paper. The final version of the video should be compressed into the format of 1920×1080 (H.264), and should be no larger than 10 GB. It would be either transferred online or burned onto CDs before being sent to the Organizing Committee by Sept. 15th, 2021.

4. Full Text of the Paper

All the papers would be sent to the Drama (a journal issued by the CAD) publisher under the authors' permission. If selected, the authors shall submit the final and full version of the paper and will be awarded about 800 dollars.

Ⅷ. Other Statements

1）The platform for the videos and the details of Zoom conference will be announced later.

2）All the materials submitted will be used only in this forum, and will be well kept by the Committee but will not be returned to the schools.

3）Apart from the English subtitles in the video, the member schools shall also submit the full text of subtitle (in English) by Sept.1st, 2021 to the Organizing Committee for Chinese translation and subtitling.
